Leigha Weinberg

Leigha Weinberg (She/Her)

Program Director, Gender Equity 

 

Leigha Weinberg designs and leads the California Partners Project’s strategic programs to advance gender equity in California. She has co-authored a series of reports about the impact of  SB 826, California’s women on boards law, and partners with the public and private sectors on initiatives that promote board diversity and equal pay. In addition to her role at CPP, Leigha provides pro bono legal services to individuals and small businesses and serves as the co-chair of Human Rights Watch’s San Francisco Executive Committee where she focuses on immigration and women’s rights.

 

Prior to CPP, Leigha served as a product counsel at Google Inc. and practiced in the intellectual property group at the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she also engaged in pro bono client work related to criminal justice reform and women’s rights. Leigha lives in San Francisco with her husband and two daughters.
