California Partners Project
2020 Annual Report
In 2020, we launched the California Partners Project to promote gender equity and child wellbeing in this state we love and believe so much in; and what a year it has been. The shared vision that fuels our work is the promise of a more equitable California, harnessing the ingenuity of all its people, and leading the nation and the world in building a future that nurtures all our children.

Report
Child Well-Being
Are the Kids Alright?
The California Partners Project partnered with the Child Mind Institute to take a deep look at how life is being experienced by teens coping with loss, social isolation, and screen saturation. Our study aims to help caregivers and adolescents understand what is happening beneath the surface so they can support and navigate the healthiest possible response and adaptations to the loss and changes of the COVID-19 era.

Report
Women on Boards
2020 Progress Report
This study is the first progress report on women’s representation on all of California’s public company boards since the enactment of SB826. The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the gender breakdown of the boards of all public companies headquartered in California since 2018, the year California enacted its board gender diversity mandate (SB826).
“We work with advocates, academics, foundations, companies and dedicated individuals who are committed to creating a better California for all. We are grateful to be able to share our insights, knowledge and expertise to improve the lives of all Californians.”
